Who Are We?
Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Engineering offers a privileged education opportunity with its several application units and its academic staff who have reached high-level achievements in the academic and technological fields. Established in 1992, our faculty has 34 Professors, 27 Associate Professors, 41 Doctoral Faculty Members, 12 Doctoral Research Assistants, 63 Research Assistants and 1 Lecturer. Currently, nearly 3200 students are studying in 10 undergraduate programs.
What About Our Qualifications and Academic Vision?
Our academics are active in updating and advancing knowledge in the international arena and developing innovative projects. The main strengths of our faculty are that it has many engineering programs required by modern technology, is located on a safe campus, has a young and dynamic teaching staff, and provides applied education under the Vocational Practice and Industry Practice Program.
What Did Our Students Achieve Through Which Opportunities?
There are a total of 71 laboratories in our faculty located in the departments of Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Our students have had the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical and practical knowledge gained in the lessons in our relevant laboratories and have won awards for various projects.

Which Exchange Programs Do We Offer Our Students?
Our faculty supports Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana student exchange programs, and learning opportunities are provided in the countries and schools that our university has bilateral agreements with. Our students actively benefit from these exchange programs, which contribute to expanding their perspectives on the world with the experiences they gain in the countries they visit.
In What Ways Do We Support the Professional, Cultural and Social Atmosphere?
There are two types of association structures classified into professional and social categories within the body of our University. Professional associations are specific to faculties, while social associations are of a general nature. In this context, our students organize various interviews and activities to increase environmental awareness and consciousness. In addition, not only consultancy meetings with industrial institutions and organizations, various certificate training programs, and training activities with institutions but also alumni reunions, which provide the graduates to share and exchange their experiences, are held.
